Kyun
Yi, born on January 6, 1968 in Daegu, Korea, is a 1996
graduate of Quinnipiac University School of Law, a 1992
graduate of California State University at Hayward and
serves as Of Counsel to the firm. Currently he is admitted
to practice law in New York State (since 1998) and in
the U.S. District Courts of Eastern and Southern Districts
of New York (since 2000). Since graduation, he has practiced
in two primary areas of law: immigration and litigation.
At the onset of his career, working as a contract litigation
attorney, he assisted in high profile litigation matters
through large national law firms. Thereafter, he continued
to hone his litigation practice in the specialized area
of insurance law, specifically New York's "no-fault"
law. To date, Mr. Yi has represented his clients at
over 2500 arbitrations and at numerous trials. In addition
to his litigation practice, he has also developed his
skills as an immigration law advocate. He has counseled
and assisted individuals and corporations with all aspects
of immigration law, from nonimmigrant to immigrant matters,
from family to business matters, and from consular processing
to dealing with Bureau of Citizenship and Immigration
Services (formerly INS).
